2011 Wreaths across America

2011 will mark the 20th anniversary of Worcester Wreath Company donating Maine wreaths to adorn the headstones of our Nation's veterans at Arlington National Cemetery. In addition to 10,000 wreaths destined for Virginia, Worcester Wreath will again donate 7 ceremonial wreaths to over 350 State, National and local cemeteries across the Country.  In 2008 wreath-laying ceremonies were coordinated in 24 foreign cemeteries and aboard Naval ships in all Seven Seas, this tradition continues into 2011.

 

Every wreath purchased from our squadron will honor our veterans in addition to providing funding for the unit here in Truckee, CA.

 Truckee Civil Air Patrol obtained a Collision Avoidance System

by the kind and generous donations of many people.

We would like to thank everyone who participated in this worthwhile endeavor.

For the air safety of our Cadets and Seniors:

 

 

 

 

The PCAS, or Portable Collision Avoidance System, is a high-quality, low cost air traffic detection system that will alert our Cadets and Senior crewmembers to nearby air traffic, thereby helping to increase our margin of safety.  The System will be used when conducting Search & Rescue Missions and providing Orientation Rides to our Cadets ages 12 to 19.The retail cost of the system, including sales tax and shipping, is $1,470.

 

Any future donations will be used to benefit the cadet program. Will you help us by donating $20 or more?
